A Lot of Good to take over Children’s Boutique Operations

Sandy Cappelli, co-founder of Steven’s Hope for Children really believed int the Children’s Boutique at Steven’s Hope. So much so, that when she felt Steven’s Hope may close the boutiques, she went and started another nonprofit, A Lot of Good, to take over the boutiques and continue some of the programs that were being affected by the store closings.

“I have seen for myself the impact our little stores made’, said Sandy Cappelli. “While the (Steven’s Hope) Board wanted to close the stores, I wanted to go bigger. That’s when I had the idea of starting a new organization to pick up where the Children’s Boutiques at Steven’s Hope left off.”

The Upland store will close and be converted back to office space. A Lot of Good will take over the lease on the Rancho Cucamonga location. As part of the agreement, A Lot of Good will provide clothing and other items to the families of Steven’s Hope.
